Test eDCC

This section describes how merchants can test eDCC (Electronic Dynamic Currency Conversion) in the NEXI test environment.

The eDCC test setup allows merchants to simulate card transactions with different cardholder currencies and to verify:

• DCC eligibility

• DCC quote retrieval

• Correct presentation of currency options

Prerequisites

Before testing eDCC, ensure that:

• eDCC is enabled for your merchant profile in the test environment

• Card payments are enabled for your merchant

• You are using the NEXI test system 

Test DCC Services

To test eDCC behavior in the NEXI test environment and receive valid DCC quotes, use the card BINs and card numbers listed below. They are mapped to specific cardholder currencies. For convenience, example Luhn-valid test card numbers are provided below to allow deterministic DCC testing.

The card numbers listed are synthetic test card numbers for use in the test environment only. They are not associated with real cardholders or live issuer systems and must never be used in production. They are not usable for further 3DS challenges. Merchants may also generate their own test card numbers using the listed BINs and the Luhn algorithm.

Notice: Successful retrieval of a DCC quote does not guarantee authorization approval. Authorization outcomes depend on acquirer test setup and card acceptance rules and are evaluated independently from eDCC processing.
